Meet The Team
Kyra Letzring
Licensed Professional Counselor and SUD Counselor
As a Licensed Professional Counselor and CADCIII, I am dedicated to helping others take their first steps in finding strength and change within themselves. My goal is to create a space that promotes a safe and accepting therapeutic environment to help clients identify and explore their needs without fear of being judged.
I specialize in Trauma and Addictions and work with individuals to understand how to walk through the tough changes life can bring. I believe that everyone has the ability to change, no matter their circumstances. I use a holistic, person-centered approach to meet the client where they are at and focus on the here and now to create small attainable steps towards success.
Charlene (Charlie) Dobry
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
I hold a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Psychology. I have five years of experience teaching parenting skills aimed to strengthen the parent-child bond in a program setting and four years of experience providing therapy to children. I have training and experience in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and use non-directive play therapy techniques to teach parents how to strengthen the bond with their children.
I hold a Graduate Certificate in Medical Family Therapy (MedFT), understanding how medical conditions impact the mental health of individuals and families. I also hold a certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
I believe there is great strength in the relationships held within the family and therefore believe in helping individuals by working through their family systems. As a clinician and mother of three, I greatly value family and the parent-child relationship as this provides the foundation for all sequential relationships throughout an individual’s life. I work with children to help them to identify and understand their core emotions so they can communicate them appropriately. I love helping couples learn effective communications skills, identify and fulfil each other's love languages, and build shared meaning. My favorite client is the client who is ready to put in the work to reach their goals- no matter their age or background.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family- both outside in nature camping, picnicking, and fishing, as well as cuddled up inside our home for family movie and game nights.
Brenda Odesha
Marriage and Family Therapist Associate
I strive to provide a safe space for my clients for reflection while serving as a guide and facilitator for their own self-discovery and simultaneously working on life’s challenges and relationship struggles. I have a unique passion for working with children to guide them in processing the challenges they face in their own family dynamics as they travel through their own growth and development.
My approach is to integrate concepts in family systems, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and elements of solution focused therapy; through a systemic and humanistic lens. In working with children, I implement art, play, sand tray, and other therapeutic interventions aimed at engaging children in the therapeutic process.
If you would like someone to help you and/or your child as you navigate some challenging situations or strengthen interpersonal relationships, feel free to contact me.

Stacy Dobry-Riordan
Case Manager
Hi! My name is Stacy Dobry-Riordan (she/her/hers). I graduated from Oregon Institute of Technology with a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Psychology emphasis in Human Services.
At Place 2 Heal, I provide case management and skills building/training services for adults, children, and families. As a QMHA, my goal is to help individuals and families gain access to resources in order to meet unmet needs.
My role with clients appears in many forms; teaching, modeling, assisting, motivating, encouraging, goal setting, etc.! Helping clients learn life skills, coping skills, and many other helpful ways to improve their ability to navigate and function in the challenges of everyday life is what I love doing as a skills builder.
My career goals are to one day complete my Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Some areas I would like to focus on include post-partum mental health, trauma recovery in families with reduction in reactive parenting, whole-family therapy/support/healing for military members and veterans, and emotional regulation education for parents and their children. I want to help my clients find and love their best selves through personal work and self-discovery. My top three accomplishments in life so far are finishing high school, completing an honorable four-year tour in the military, and birthing three amazing little girls.
Professionally, my biggest accomplishment would be starting my own contracting business while continuing to provide the helping services my clients need. This has been such an empowering journey and I feel strength in being able to provide for my family with work I love and find so rewarding.
Outside of work, you would find me cooking or baking, reading, blasting music, playing board games or video games, camping, walking nature trails, or doing other fun activities with my family.
Ashley Karen Roy
Clinical Social Work Associate
I believe that psychological healing restores us to wholeness, truth, and the present; that it entails learning the lessons the past has to teach us; and that trauma, healed, is carried forward as wisdom.
I am a Clinical Social Work Associate with an MSW from Boise State University and a B.A. in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s honors program.
My direct care experience includes counseling and case management with typically and atypically developing children, adults, couples, and families; group facilitation; crisis intervention; and assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning. I have also participated in clinical research on the developmental effects of stress, abuse, and neglect.
As a counselor, I have three areas of focus. One is helping individuals heal the legacies of developmental and interpersonal trauma, including insecure attachments; breakdowns in relationships with themselves, others, and the world; and harmful patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving.
Although I am comfortable working with most diagnosed mental illnesses, I tend to think of my clients as hurting rather than as being sick. Another focus is helping distressed couples and families restore intimacy and integrity to their relationships while working toward healthy functioning. And another is helping suicidal individuals revitalize their will to live.
It is gratifying to help people who are new to the process understand and undertake therepy. I am equally eager to work with people who have “Been there, done that, tried everything” and wonder why they suffer still. Wherever you’re at, I am optimistic about what we can accomplish together.
Because I am committed to offering individualized, collaborative care that is both soulful and scientific, I stay educated about the state of the art in therapeutic interventions and draw from diverse traditions. Feel free to ask whether I have experience with a therapy of interest to you. Whatever approach we take, our work together will honor your agency, strengths, and resources while acknowledging the impact of external factors on your well-being. Mental Health is the foundation of how we experience ourselves emotionally.
Danielle Ventimiglia
Marriage and Family Therapist Intern
I am a clinical intern in my final year of the Marriage and Family Therapy professional graduate program at OIT. I completed my undergraduate at Whittier College in Los Angeles with a B.A. in Comparative Cultures and a B.A. in French. I grew up here in Klamath Falls and have had the privilege to travel the world, living amongst cultures vastly different from my own. I have learned that at least one thing connects us all: the importance of our whole health.

I practice from a biopsychosocial spiritual approach, acknowledging the whole person within their family and social context. I am systemically trained, which means I account for the interconnectedness of family dynamics that influence our, thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This includes understanding how physical medical conditions/crises deeply affect a person’s mental-emotional health and family functioning. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused and Strengths-Focused Therapies, with special focus on mindfulness and somatic practices. I am also trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). My future professional goals include training in EMDR and Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). It is important that I collaborate with my clients to find the best fit for each in their unique goals and needs.
I take pride in being culturally responsive and socially inclusive: All are welcome here. Truly, no one heals in isolation. Please reach out and let’s connect. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to gain clinical experience toward my professional licensure and for allowing me to provide compassionate care on your journey toward mental-emotional wellness.

Outside of school and work, I enjoy spending quality time with my two sons, gardening, fitness, studying and practicing astrology, exploring my Sicilian ancestry, and international travel when I can escape J
